Circus Circus

We took Ty and cousin Sophie to the little circus that came through town. It was pretty cheesy, but Sophie was VERY impressed. My favorite part of watching the circus was watching the amazement on her face. Neither Ty of Sophie look happy in this photo because they both did not want to hold still for a photo. There was so much excitement!

Sophie loved this little zebra all dressed up.

Soph mesmorized by the contortionist ladies.

She also loved the performing dogs.

Ty loved the music and would dance to it. He also loved to watch the different lights. Ty had a hard time keeping tract of all the different acts going on at the same time in the three ring circus.
To be honest his favorite part of the whole show was when a truck drove out to help move the tiger cages out. Good thing he got Monster Truck show tickets for his birthday.

This girl loves cotton candy.

We had a great night as a family!

Bath Fun

Grandma found these big bags of balls for Ty.
He loves it when we dump them in the bath with him.

It usually takes several towels to soak up the fun afterward!

Merry Christmas!

This tractor was the first present that Ty opened. He loved it so much he couldn't be bothered to open any more presents without a lot of convincing.

Grandma reading the family the story of Christ's birth.

We finally convinced Ty to open another present and it was BOOKS! He ditched the tractor after that and begged everyone to read his books to him. This kid is a book reading machine!

A book shaped like a tractor. The best of both worlds as far as Ty is concerned.

Grant documenting that Grandma went way overboard with presents!

We are so thankful this holiday season for our family and the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

The Riverwoods

Everyone who know Ty knows he loves lights. So this holiday season we spent A LOT of time looking at Christmas lights. There is outdoor nice shopping area called Riverwoods near our home that goes all out for the holidays. Ty loved it so much we ended up going back two more times. There are live bands, lights, Santa (who Ty loved), and Ty's favorite -  horse drawn carriage rides. He did not want to ride, just watch the horses ride past. The horses were covered in bells so he could hear them coming and get super excited.

Town Christmas Party

Santa came to our town hall! Ty was not shy one bit. We set him down and he crawled right over to Santa. Ty does not have one shy bone in his body.

Temple Square

For Clint's families annual Christmas party this year the family decided to all go see the play "Saviour of the World" which is a play about the life of Jesus Christ. Ty would never last that long so while the family went to see the play Ty and I went to Temple Square in Salt Lake City to see the christmas lights. Ty loves lights so much and kept pointing and saying "ohhh" "ohhh" "ooh." There are live choirs singing and an outdoor navtivity production. Ty loved all the commotion. I didn't get any pictures of the family, but they all had a wonderful time at the play and were all quite uplifted.

Swimming

Clint and I booked a local hotel for a little getaway, but we could not bear to getaway from Ty so we took him swiming at the hotel pool then took him to his Grandprents. He obviously loved it. He also love crawling up and down the hotel hallways and trying to get all the guests to pay attention to him. He also loved the hotel room with all the new things to explore. It was so hard to take him to my parents. We missed him so much and kept talking the whole night about how much fun he had had.

We left Ty with his Grandparents for a couple more days while we down to Las Vegas to watch the National Finals Rodeo. I had never been to a real big rodeo like that. It was very fun, and very fun to see Clint get so excited. I had no idea who anyone was so I just cheered for all the cowboys from Utah or Oklahoma (where Ty was born :).

Las Vegas replica of the Eiffel Tower. Oh how I wish it was the real thing!

In front of the fountain show at the Bellagio. I thought Las Vegas was supposed to be warm, but it was freezing rain and snow the whole time. We wore winter coats the whole time.
It was even such a bad blizzard on the drive home that we had to pull over in the middle of the night and stay at a Motel 6.
