Don't say the "W" Word

Our baby has a serious obsession with his wagon. He would prefer to be pulled around in it from morning till night. If you say "wagon" he starts to go crazy with excitement. So unless you are ready to take him for a ride you better not say the W word around our house.

With a face like that he can usually get someone to take him for a ride.

Helper

Ty wants to "help" you do everything now!

Is it helping if I take out the ones you load?

Recovering

Ty loved the wagon at the hospital so much we decided to get him one for home so we could lug him and his oxygen tank, and he could lay and rest if he needed to. It is pretty much all he has wanted to do ever since we got it.

Go faster!!

Whew.

Bummer Summer

Ty's big heart surgery was tough on him. He would only let Clint or I hold him after his surgery, so after holding him for about 36 hours strait they finally gave us a full sized bed so we could lay next to him. He was ok as long as you stayed right there with him. We all took turns. I am sure I have never been so tired in my whole life. None of us (including Ty) slept for more than a couple hours at a time for for the five days we were there. Whew it was rough.

Ty trying to figure out how to use his feet to remove his sat monitor. He was sucessful in removing an IV with his feet. It was bloody.

Ty's precious Georgie. He loves Curious George. We promptly lost this toy after his hospital stay and are still in mourning over it.

Headed home!

See ya!

If you open a door, any door, Ty crawls as fast as he can to try to escape.

Hanging Out at the Lake

4th of July Birthday

My Mom's birthday is a few days before the 4th of July so we have started an annual tradition of celebrating both at the lake.

Ty and his girls all ready for a day at the lake.

Ty in his sunglasses.

Mama trying to get brave enough to go into the cold water. Cannon in the background paddleboarding.

Cousin Cannon showing Ty the ins and outs of paddleboarding.

Oooooo the water was so cold! Ty was not sure about it at first.

Daddy taking Ty for a spin. He loved to be pulled through the water  . . . but don't you dare think about stopping. Ty must be moving at all times no matter what he is doing.

Grant, Krista and Cannon making a train of flotation devices.

Grandma spinning Sophie around and around.

Cute Aubrey!

Ty loved the waves crashing into his feet.

Oh Sophie! Always posing just right. I think that is Grant hiding from me!

Happy 4th of July!

Cornina getting brave on the paddleboard.

The cutest naked bum.

 I love our little family.

It was a perfect day!
