Sneezing

Ty thinks sneezing is so funny. He will laugh over and over at fake sneeezes. Oh we love this kid's laugh!

Kicking!

Ty is behind on his gross motor skills and can't get himself from laying to sitting yet, but he can kick! He loves to kick and has gotten very coordinated at it.

He has to be naked to kick like this. As soon as his clothes come off the kicking starts.

Winter Adventures

Ty received a present this week from a very kind friend! A pull around sled which as you can see he loves! He kicks his legs in it the whole time and grins from ear to ear.

Daddy and Ty heading out to check out the river. Ty's cheeks were rosy red in the cold, but he didn't care. It is his new favorite activity.

Ty's First Sledding!

We were supposed to go sledding for Ty's first birthday party, but because of the crazy winter of no snow this was the first sledding snow of the year. We decided to just go down the packed down driveway at our house since the yard was covered in a foot of new powdery snow that would mean freezing faces.

Look at that happy face! Ty would scream with anticipation at the top of the hill then squeal the faster we got going.

Of course the dog had to chase them down everytime. I didn't catch a picture of the goat, but he was chasing us down the hill just as fast. Ty loves the goat! He laugh and laughs at him running around.

A close up of his face going down the hill. He loved it.

Ty wanted to keep going - but it was too cold. I have a feeling we are going to be doing a lot of sledding with this kid!

Look Who Can Finally Sit Up!!!

After months and months of trying to get Ty to sit up he can now sit up on his own! He still won't put his arms out to catch himself when he start to fall over, so you have to stay right near by, but progress! He is having so much fun playing with his toys in this new position. Way to go Ty!

We are so proud of Ty! This took a lot of work for him, but he did it with a smile (well mostly).

Ty's First Christmas!

Ty was by far the BEST Christmas present of all!

Christmas Eve we spent at my parents house with our wonderful family. We always have a feast of mexican food and open presents on Christmas Eve.

Ty with Santa! He got right to pulling on Santa's beard. And gladly took a candy cane when he offered.

He snuggled right down into Santa's lap and laid against him. It was so precious.
Ty is not allowed to go anywhere in public due to his breathing troubles. I was sad that Ty wasn't going to get to get a photo with Santa for his first Christmas. My Mom arranged for a surprise visit to her house from Santa! Everyone in the family was in on it but me (well and Ty). He loved Santa! It was a great gift!

We thought it would be cute to get Ty's photo in a giant stocking for Christmas . . .

Had a rough time getting a photo. These make me laugh.

Making his getaway.

What a cute stocking stuffer.

Keeping glasses strait on a baby - almost impossible!

I didn't get many photos of the family, but here is one of my beautiful Mom and sister-in-law Corina.

Aubrey was a great cousin to hold Ty while he played with the Christmas Tree. He loved the Christmas tree lights and train.

Ty loves his "fuzz fuzz." Aunt Krissy got him a GIANT "fuzz fuzz" he loves it.

Reading his Christmas books from Grandma.

Clint's Mom saved Clint's favorite toy Smoky and The Bandits semi truck all these years and gave it to Ty. I am SURE that truck will get used for many years to come.

Grandma H also gave Ty a giant "fuzz fuzz." Ty grabbed it right to his face. It was very sweet. Here he is cudding it. He loves soft blankets.

Ty absolutely loves my brother Austin. He is mesmorized by him and thinks everything he says is so funny. He is about to fall asleep standing up in this picture, but he still wants to see and hear everything Austin does.

Oh what a fun tool set that already is making great teethers!
I am sure they will become tools to Ty someday soon. Ty received too much loot to document what a spoiled baby!

Wheew a tuckered out Ty Christmas Eve. He was so tired. He takes off his glasses when he gets tired, but it was a great 1st Christmas!

The next morning we packed up and drove to Grandma and Grandpa Hendricks. Before we went Ty had to do a little jumping with Grandpa N

The Grandpa fun just kept going when we got to Logan. Ty and Grandpa H were rolling all over the floor and  having a ball.

They talked for quite some time.

Poor Aunt Janet's jewelry became Ty's teether.

Once again Ty was exhausted by the end of the night, but had a great time with the family.

Merry Christmas from the Hendricks!

Cake Boss

My sister and I decided that since our niece was turning the big 13 and entering the teens she needed a VERY special cake.

Ummm yummy!

Here is the mess that it took to get there. There was a last minute run to the grocery store when we ran out of candy for one of the layers.

Ty was super helpful by letting Grandma give him his bedtime treatment.

A happy birthday girl! She is an amazing girl!
