Great Grandma Wood

We finally got to take Ty up to Northern Idaho to visit his Great Grandma Wood (Clint's Grandmother). As you can see Ty did not really enjoy the 1600 mile drive. He was so bored he even read the atlas.

Ty's first visit with his great grandma Wood. Four generations! Grandma got the biggest kick about Ty running around the nursing home. He thought all the wheelchairs and the captive audience was fantastic. We felt so blessed to get to take Ty up for a visit especially to celebrate Grandmas 95th birthday. Wow.

Ty loved his great aunt Brenda!

We ate out of fruit stands the whole way up.
We ate such yummy fruits and fruit pies and shakes the whole drive up.

Clint picking blackberries. Ty's FAVORITE food in he whole world is blackberries. While we drove Ty ate wild blackberries by the handful. he ate so many we thought he might get a tummy ache. He knows the sign for "MORE" and just said it over and over. He knew we had tons of blackberries so he refused to eat anything else the whole trip home.

Wild blackberries everywhere! We picked a few gallons and made some delicious jam.

The Dorshack dam.

We visited the bar Clint's grandparents built. It brought back a lot of fun memories for Clint.

Ty loved the pool table! There were plenty of place for Curious George (Ty's constant companion) to hide. When Clint was a little boy he would sleep on the pool table when he came to visit his Grandparents.
